Prom Dress Idea: Floral Prints February 6, 2009
If you’re still torn on what trend to try at prom, here’s an idea from Scarlett Johansson: floral prints. She stepped out on the red carpet of the “He’s Just Not That Into You” premiere on February 2nd in a stunning floral gown by Oscar de la Renta. The form-fitting dress had a strapless sweetheart neckline and sweeping train. I adored it!
Scarlett followed the number one beauty rule when wearing prints: keep everything else simple. With subdued makeup, hair that was straight and simple, and no glitzy jewelry, she let the print pop in a way that’s classy, not overwhelming. Another bonus, her new brunette hair shade brings out the touches of brown in the florals.
There’s a beautiful variety of floral print prom dresses to choose from this year. You can check out the best here on MyPromStyle.com. I created a slideshow based on the looks I’ve seen Miley wear at several red carpet events.
What do you think? What’s your preference - print or solid?

Hey Tammy,
Have you seen the new site, http://www.thatsmydress.com? It’s awesome! Users post their dress to the event they’re going to, i.e., PROM, so girl sees their double!
Thought you might like it!
Tammy,
A service my daughter and I have had success with is http://www.myeventdress.com/. It saved her senior prom when she found another girl had purchased the exact dress she wanted to wear.

Really awesome. For common people this floral Prints dresses were not as flashy and colorful. The sewing patterns of floral print dresses are put up by the designers in formal gowns and make different and unique personalized style dresses.
