Prom is all about the memories. It’s a night of fun that everyone should remember. but be prepared to deal with the pressures that come with it. It’s fine to go to a party on prom night. For most, that’s part of the experience. Just be sure you and your friends take care of each other. Watch your drinks so no one can slip you something and help each other stick to your decision to stay safe & sober. If something does happen, you’ll both be in control of your senses and be able to get home safe and sound. Not everyone will be as smart as you. There will be some who will decide to drink or use drugs and try to encourage you to do the same. Don’t be caught off guard and say “yes” to something you’ll regret. Be ready to say “No” or walk away. Humor often works in these situations and once they realize you’re not going to join them, they’ll leave you alone. Remember prom is about looking your best and feeling great and car accidents aren’t pretty.

Prom is a night to be fun and for new memories to be brought to us and for one of the last time for seniors to be together. If your date or friends pick you up so you can go to dinner and then to prom then wear your seat belt on your there and also don’t forget but on the back. The next thing is if you plan to go to a party the designate someone to drive because I know when I go to parties I don’t drink because i have to drive or plan on having your parents pick you up at a certain time or even a cab. You could also just have a party at a friend’s house and have everyone spend the night so that way it’s a night for memories not for a night of sadness because you lost your closet friend because you got in a wreck. Also if you plan on drinking give your keys to someone responsible so you won’t drive. Remember prom is a night for fun new memoires and good bye for a new life. From my experience car accident aren’t fun and when you know a paramedic you see some pretty bas stuff so be safe and have fun.

Prom night should be the best night of your life so remember to always wear your seat belt and drivers should not be texting or talking on their cell phones while driving. The person in the passengers seat should take care of the texting or talking on the phone for the driver so the driver is not so distracted.

Safety Tips Driving to Prom.
1. The first and foremost is to make sure your seat belt is all buckled up! You dont want to get into an accident and miss out on probably the best night of your life!
2. If all possible, find someone to drive you so that you have time to fix your make up and look fabulous the time you arrive.
3. On your way back to prom, make sure you don’t take alcohol! By the time you know it the police will be pulling your cute butt up to jail~
4. It’s not the smartest safety tip, but…. Dont let parents drop you off prom! It would so kill your image lol. Get a driver! Get a limo! Get your date! Your boyfriend! ANYONE?!

HOW TO BE A SMART PASSENGER?
1. Dont drive, get a driver(parents not included)
2. Make sure you have enough room for you and your dress! You don’t want to ruin the dress, trust me! The dress is the highlight of prom.
3. Be smart, make sure you didnt forget anything before you leave the house. Being fashionably late is okay, but come on!
4. Make sure the person responsible driving you is not a drunk or some kind of drug taking person, you want that night to be perfect so you cant afford any mistakes.
5. If your date’s driving you to prom, no kissing! Ruins your make up! :p

and that should be about it, remember though, no drinking! Thats about the most important thing. Make sure the person driving you home did not have alcohol that night. Bring your celphone, just incase you need to call someone that’s in a right state of mind to pick you up. Don’t mess this night up just because of a police-pull up or an alcohol drinking disaster! This night is all about you. Bold, Beautiful, Smart You. BBS :)

Everyone wants to remember prom for years to come. Why not make it a safe and happy night to remember. Too many teens get into trouble or die on their prom nights due to careless driving or drinking or whatever it may be. To insure that we all have a safe and exciting night, don’t accept drinks from anyone unless it is unopened. It could have a drug that you may not be able to taste or smell. Don’t drink alcohol at or after prom either. No matter if you can “handle” it don’t even try. Drinking leads to impaired judgements and regrets in the night. When your in the car, always wear your seatbelt. Even if you think it’s silly, the seatbelt could save your life if the car you are in has an accident. Be brave enough to stand up for yourself or your friends. If you or someone you know is feeling pressured into doing something wrong stand up and say “no”. Boys think prom is about that night and possibly scoring with a girl. Use the buddy system with your girlfriends, also have a sign if one of you is feeling uncomfortable and wants to leave. So remember the good times and stay safe. No one wants to look back at prom and regret anything that they did. So have fun and enjoy prom! It’s one of the most exciting nights of our high school lives!

Hey everybody! My prom say is coming up, and so are many others I know. Here are a few tips to stay safe, and still have sooo much fun. When your date picks you up always buckle up! Trust me a dress doesn’t wrinkle just by wearing a seat belt! And even if your friends don’t think it’s cool, still wear it! If you get into a car accident, and your the only one wearing your seat belt, you will probably be the only one safe. So encourage your date, and friends to wear theirs too! Oh, and check to make sure there is no lipstick on your teeth. And this is your prom, the moment you have been dreaming about, not a bar. You all should be under 21, so don’t drink. If you see someone drinking, tell the teacher who’s in charge! You won’t be hurting anyone, you will be helping them! If your date turns out to be a total jerk, dance with your friends, just have some fun. Don’t let a stupid guy ruin your whole night! Oh, and bring around three safety pins. I know your saying, WHAT! But trust me you might need them! One night almost all the bottons on the back of my dress popped off, and I didn’t have any thing to hold it with, so I had to go home early. So if anything like that happens to you, grad a friend, and have her help! And you’ve probably delt with peer pressure most of your High School years, but that is all apart of the experience! Just say no! And PLEASE don’t have sex the night of your prom! Even if your date behs you, it might ruin the moment! If you already said no,and he won’t leave you alone, you will always have your buds to lean on. Wear underwear with your dress, you never know what will happen! And just be yourself, and this is such an important night, don’t do anything that you will regret! So have fun, laugh like no one can hear you, dance like no one is watching, and be Safe! Remember you have people who love you, so don’t let them down! Have FUN!

What is prom? Prom is one of the most astounding nights of your life. Prom is one of the last special days you will have in high school besides graduation. Prom is being with your friends or your date and have the time of your life dancing and making memories that will remind you of that special day. This is my senior year and there is absolutely no way that I want to ruin it by getting into a car crash. What i’m going to do to try to avoid an accident is get a reliable driver to take me to the prom. I will not drive because 1.You cannot drive in heals and 2.I will have a dress on that could easily get caught on the pedals. I’m not the type of person that drinks at all so I dont plan on starting on prom night either. I will wear my seat belt while i’m in the car or limo etc. Although it is fun to have the music really loud when you want to get pumped up for a big night It will have its limits since lack of hearing causes accidents as well. I will make sure that the driver is not using a cell phone to talk on the phone or text while he/she is driving. I cant tell you how many times people have crashed because they were distracted since they were texting or talking on the phone. Just a few tips to be on the safe side for one of the best nights of my life! I definitely DO NOT want to mess that up because I wasn’t cautious. So if its your senior prom this year have fun! and be safe! Dont let the best day of your life turn into your worst! :D

Sydnee Sexton Says:

So it’s prom, a magical night you’ll remember for the rest of your life. It may seem cliche but it’s true. Rule number 1: remember, you can’t control everything. Its possible that something little may go wrong, breath, its ok. Just because one little thing goes wrong that does not mean prom is ruined. However, one thing sure to mess up prom is an accident. So, to be sure their are no accidents and you and your friends get to prom safe and sound here are a few tips:
Get a driver, that way your sure to be save, you don’t have to worry about getting lost on the way (they have GPS) and no stress all you have to do is relax with friends as your driven!
Wear your seatbelt, it wont ruin your dress, but it can make the difference in saving a life, so make sure your friends wear their seatbelt too :)
Yes, prom is a time to have fun but that doesn’t mean you have to do anything crazy. You wouldn’t dance outside the window, hop the seats or distract the driver if your parents were in the car so you don’t need to do it at prom. You can still have fun without doing anything too dangerous.
If your the driver be responsible. No texting or talking on the phone, thats a really lame way to get in an accident. Also, know where your going, no one wants to get lost and be super late to prom. Most importantly, don’t drink and drive! No excuses. Drive sober. Its the best way to ensure safety plus prom is the best time for building memories and you can’t do that if your too drunk to remember anything!
And lastly, be careful if you choose to drink or eat anything in the car. Spills could pose a serious threat to your beautiful dress and no one wants a stain! ;)
So with that, have fun make memories, and don’t be sorry later, just be safe!
